im not too sure what happened...but as i was driving i hear a scratching or grinding noise, i go down the block and it just gets worse, so i stop the car and leave it running and it continues to make the sound..so i turn the engine off and it stopped. I opened the hood and i see some kind of belt located near the dipstick for engine oil torn up to shreds. Its stuck under the pulley thing and i had to push the car 2 blocks to my house. Any insight on wat this belt is? Is this the fan belt and also has any other mazda3s had this random problem of their belts coming off. I am so frustrated right now...i wasnt even pushing the car or anything.
