I heard experts/mechanics claim you should warm your car from 2 minutes max to 3 minutes min so I have no idea what to believe. And of course there are also theories about winter warm up times. So I was wondering how long do you/should you warm up your 3?

Start engine, floor the accelerator until the engine is bouncing off the rev limiter, depress clutch pedal, engage reverse, dump clutch while keeping accelerator depressed, depress clutch, engage 1st gear, dump clutch again, dont change into 2nd until the temp gauge is in the red zone. Also keep the ebrake on to get the rear brakes nice and warmed up.

Thought I was one of the few to use this warm up technique. It's also recommended to spin the wheels until you're completely covered in white smoke to get them nice and sticky for go time.

Good point...I also forgot to mention that you shouldnt use the clutch to change gears when the engine is cold. Its bad for the clutch to be used when its not properly warmed up. Let those synchros do their thing!
